S/T 7" LYRICS:

STRANGLEHOLDS AND CAGES
in the grip of this situation i have to struggle for space to breathe. won’t take my freedom for granted i want to trade it for responsibility. strangleholds and cages, the tunnels we dug too deep. the weight of expectations and goals outside our reach. aren’t we worth so much more than this forced diet we swallow? happy to dance, content to move to the rhythm of the markets. foundations shattered again pushed to the brink. the pace of the wheels forcing us to adapt or sink. all the bars are not broken, we might even carry the keys. and the statue stands uncrumbled yet the cracks still remain.

STILL GOT THE FIRE
Still got the fire but nothing to burn. just the bitter beauty of an end. no payback. no scapegoat this time.

STAINS
staring the stains on the factory wall, got to keep at it for an hour more. selling my time to live a life as i loathe selling myself. i fear i can see a pattern. i fear i can build a picture. staring the stains i guess i chose. this time i’m out of answers. sometimes it sucks to recognize who and what i’m influenced by. scared to think where it leads cos all i got is this one go here.

A GOOD SPORT
what can i say? you outstripped us. the true talent with all the capacity and i’m left with naivity. you and me bound to meet eventually. conciousness of the roman and american ways. got what it takes to repeat the daylight robbery. but i am here and i want to slow you down. down. down. down. straighten the thoughts. force the freedom. paralyze the labour. harness the politics and collect every hitting second of our time. no i don’t have your spirit. not a good sport. we’re here to win you not to lose within ourselves.
