Radios Appear was the first full length studio album by Sydney punk-rock band Radio Birdman. The album was recorded at Birdman's Trafalgar Studios, Sydney during 1976 and 1977. Trafalgar initially distributed the album via mail order and by sales from the backs of friend's and band members' station wagons. This laid the groundwork for future DIY punk bands in Australia. Radios Appear was hailed by many as a breakthrough album in Australian music and a decisive change from the uneventful early mid-seventies scene.

(Yep Roc)

Radio Birdman, one of Australia's greatest rock bands, are set to return with Zeno Beach, their first album of new material in 25 years. Produced by band guitarist Deniz Tek and prominent local engineer Greg Wales in Sydney, the album features Tek alongside other original members Rob Younger, Pip Hoyle and Chris Masuak, as well as longstanding bass player Jim Dickson and new drummer Russell Hopkinson of You Am I. "Zeno Beach" confirms Radio Birdman's high energy reputation with songs "We've Come So Far", "You Just Make It Worse", "Remorseless" and "Locked Up", and explores new directions on the primal 60's garage rocker "Hungry" Cannibals, the Arthur Lee/Love styled "Die Like Apri" and the acid drenched "Heyday".
